DESCRIPTION –

Cleocin is an antibiotic that is used to treat a variety of pathogenic bacteria. It can be used in the treatment of ear infections, throat infections. It can also be used to treat bone and joint infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, pneumonia. Cleocin can treat only bacterial infections and not any infections caused by fungi and viruses.

MECHANISM –

Cleocin has the capacity to inhibit the bacteria right away in the very beginning.
It kills the outer membrane of the bacteria that infect the body.
This medicine cuts the nutrients that go to the bacteria through which it grows.
This creates starvation and ultimately kills the bacteria.
The bacteria will be completely flushed out provided you take the entire dosage prescribed to you.

DOSAGE –

Take Cleocin without food as per the prescribed number of times a day.
It can be taken by water or as per prescription by your doctor.
Dosage may also differ from the type of disease and its severity.
Take the whole prescribed dosage do not stop if the symptoms seem to have gone. If you stop the medication midway there are chances the infection might come back.

PRECAUTIONS –

If you are prone to allergic reactions from any ingredients containing in this medicine, do not consume this medicine.
Do not take this medicine with any other antibiotics, if so mention it to your doctor.
Elderly people may be more sensitive to this medicine.

Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea

Do not consume this medicine if you have heart, liver or kidney disease.
Breastfeeding moms should not take this medicine as the medicine easily enters the bloodstream. So the medicine may be transferred to the baby through milk.
