It is effective in infections of the lungs (eg. pneumonia), urinary tract, ear, nasal sinus, throat, and skin. It kills bacteria, which helps to improve your symptoms and cure the infection. Common side effects of Cefoprox 200 MG Tablet are diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Do not take this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. When Cefoprox 200 MG Tablet is taken along with medications which reduce or prevent stomach acids like antacids, proton pump inhibitors or H2 blockers, it can delay Cefoprox 200 MG Tablet actions on your body. Therefore, take this antibiotic at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking such medications.
